Currently, there are at least 5.3 million Americans living with a disability because of a brain injury. Every 23 seconds a traumatic brain injury occurs, and in the next year, an average of 1.4 million Americans will sustain a traumatic brain injury. A traumatic brain injury (TBI) is defined as a blow or jolt to the head or a penetrating head injury that disrupts the function of the brain.

In honor of National Brain Injury Awareness Month, we will be donating a portion on March's sales to the Brain Injury Association of America.

Founded in 1980, the Brain Injury Association of America (BIAA) is the leading national organization serving and representing individuals, families and professionals who are touched by a life-altering, often devastating, traumatic brain injury. The BIAA provides information, education and support to assist the 5.3 million Americans currently living with traumatic brain injury and their families.
