Pin Of The Month: April

Autism is a complex developmental disability that typically appears during the first three years of life and is the result of a neurological disorder that affects the normal functioning of the brain, impacting development in the areas of social interaction and communication skills.  Autism affects an estimated 1 in 150 births.  The international symbol for autism is a puzzle piece, signifying the mystery of this disorder.

In honor of National Autism Awareness Month, we will be donating a portion of April's sales to the Autism Society of America.

The Autism Society of America, founded in 1965, is dedicated to increasing public awareness about autism and the day-to-day issues faced by individuals with autism, their families and the professionals with whom they interact. The Society and its chapters share a common mission of providing information and education, and supporting research and advocating for programs and services for the autism community.
